We are reaching out to you, our cigar-loving friends, to ask for help in supporting one of our dearest team members, Jason Panulde. He has suffered two debilitating strokes that have left him in critical condition. Two surgeries have been performed to reduce swelling around his brain, and he is showing signs of improvement. However, while in good hands at Health City Cayman Islands, Jason’s long-term prognosis is uncertain. Adding to the uncertainty is Jason’s limited health insurance, which will not cover the high medical costs. We are turning to you for your support in getting Jason healthy and back to doing what he does best.
About Jason
Jason came to the Cayman Islands from the Philippines during the earliest days of Beacon Farms and immediately made an impact. Jason’s invaluable agriculture experience he gained growing up on a farm has been at the core of both Beacon Farms’ and Cayman Cigar Company’s success. In addition, Jason has played a vital role in developing our tobacco program.
Jason is an industrious and generous soul, from teaching us how to make oil and flour from coconuts to sharing his farming wisdom with our tobacco-growing team. Jason is at the very heart of the Beacon Farms motto, Changing Lives Through Agriculture. Through his agricultural knowledge, passion, and generosity, he has truly made a difference for us and so many others.
Beacon Farms and Cayman Cigar Company simply would not be what we are today without Jason’s dedication to fulfilling our mission of helping those in need. We are grateful to have Jason as part of our Beacon Farms/Cayman Cigars family and the larger Caymanian community.
